BTW, Race results!

"Our" unlimited light hydroplane (we are a minor, associate sponsor) was runner up in total points for 2005. :-)

Of 19 Unlimited Light boats that were awarded points this year, the spread was from just a few hundred points for the last place boat all the way up to 8,794 points for the first place finisher, (Mike's Hard Lemonade/Happy Go Lucky). Mike's Hard Lemonade is the prennial champion in this division.

The boat we help sponsor, "Miss Boat Electric" was only a nose behind, with a point total of 8,711. To put this in perspective, the 3rd place boat had under 6,000 points and the 4th place boat had under 5,000. People are remarking that the 83 point spread is the closest finish of all time in the Unlimited Light category.

Tom, An electric boat can achieve the high speeds shown?

How long is the cord and does it get in the way of the other boats? ; )
