Aahhhh I forgot. I'm a live aboard. Its 0 degrees, but cozy on the boat. I bellong to so many live aboard forums I forgot that most poeple store them away for the winter. I knew there was more "boat talk" when I join the forum earlier this year..

Thanks!

They have been that. Integrated Circuits were not invented when I built the packing crates. circa 1959-60 Bill

Bill, I would assume they have been updated along the way.

PS - Damn your old. ; )

There is, but half of the posters here are winterized for the next six months and suffering cabin fever. A large portion of other posters appear not to even *own* a boat.

Post a boating related question or bit of information and you should get an appropriate response.

it's not too bad once the water gets hard. FREDO

I was out for about half a (short) day last Sunday. It was in the mid 40's F and calm, not bad actually. Any one else notice the nasty smell of Sta-bil in the fuel on a cold start?

Keep that up & I may have to trailer my Sandpiper down your way to trash your overgrown sailing canoe in a race. Don

It's 44 degrees here, and trying to rain. I did not want to go outside to shovel up the dirt pile on the sidewalk. But duty calls. Bill

See if you can out run the surplus AIM-9 Sidewinders I mounted on the siderails.

Speaking of which, I know the fellow who came up with the glass/sensor bonding process - took two years to develop the process so there wasn't any distortion and to maintain transparency.

He's quite an interesting guy.

Cannot believe how long that missile has been in production. I made packing crates for them while in highschool. Worked part time for a pallet company that had a contract for the crates. And I am Social Security age now. Bill

Yeah...there's plenty of it. But, it's winter for half the country. It slows things down in this newsgroup. Look for some knitting banter over the weekend, though. Doug

I just bought some CDs of reasonably old recordings. A couple of them apparently were re-mastered. They didn't sound this good on LPs. I'd rather banter about the MJQ than knitting.

It's minus 3C outside and windy. Who wants to be on the water? Don

Here it's, 70F, winds at 10mph ENE, Air pressure 30.13Hg, dew point 59F, humidity 68.2%, A few clouds at 3100ft, overcast clouds at 4000 ft . Most likely it will rain tonight. Still enough time to get in a couple of hours fishing though.

Sorry, I know you could care less. I understand.

Tom, Anytime I have been out on a sailboat in freezing weather, a large "greenie" always comes over the deck and manages to go down the neck of my foul weather gear, and into my boots. Lord
