Bottom Paint Question
I am looking at an Aluminum boat. The Bottom Paint is Interlux Tri-Lux
33. contains tin -- should I worry? |

| GD right.... That is an EXCELLENT question! Speaking Interlux, your
best choice is Trilux 33... no Tin and it should be very friendly to
your boat! |

| So your bottom paint does *not* contain tin.
No need to worry, at least not about potential electrolytic reaction
with your aluminum hull.

| Whooops -- found my answer Trilux 33 is a tin-free antifouling specifically formulated with Biolux
Technology, to give highly effective antifouling protection in all
waters for up to 18 months. It is suitable for use on aluminium craft,
outdrives and outboards and any substrate where bright colours or a
bright white antifouling is required. |
