Most of the waterfront property on Marthas Vineyard and Connecticut was washed away in the hurricane of 1938. It doesn't seem to have had any long term impact on property values however.

How big are the winnings for 5 numbers? Our 5-number lotto usually wins you "only" a couple hundred thousand. I couldn't even pay off my equity line for that.

I honestly don't know, I'm really not a gambler - I might play Powerball if the money gets North of 100 million, but that's about it.

In the end, however, you may end up being the one laughing all the way to the bank.

The boats, dental practice, cars, kid's school, etc. will already be paid for. So really there's no downside.

In reality, though, waterfront property in Naples is likely to appreciate more than 5% average per annum over the next 26 years, so the likely scenario only gets rosier.

If you don't think babes and a wife are a complicated system, you need to get out more.

That will cost a little more, but they are out there.

We've seem em, and I found them most decorative. Mrs B was less impressed and tried to take my binoculars. :-)

Of course, you could have made a wise ass remark like I did once - 0h, like - "Seen one seen 'em all". Of course, that's now why I need a shoulder replacement, but we won't go into that. :>)

You probably meant that although the babes are a complicated system, (especially when there are more than one!), they couldn't really be considered "too many." :-)

I enjoy practical or informational boating discussions.

What you're doing, and I don't mean it as an insult, is playing "Smithers." He has absolutely nothing meaningful to contribute to a boating discussion, so he searches the internet for something - anything - that is boating-related. Well, you're not a boating poseur, so why play one?

Ok, first I'd start with Raymarine E-system - the whole shooting match including the bow thruster interface for positioning purposes. Second, I'd install a Sea Tel system for communications including Internet/phone and whatever else I could stuff into it.

Third, a Sea Tel Satellite TV system with US/EU compatibility and the HDTV application.

Fourth, whatever was in vogue for stereo equipment today along with flat screen LCD TVs for all the staterooms.

A complete set of fly-by-wire controls for engines, HVAC, steering, etc.

Last, and not least, A bevy of busty deck hands whose uniforms consist of string thong bikini's.
