Dead in The Water (movie 2002)
I'm watching Dead In The Water; a movie from 2002.
One review calls it a "dull thriller." I have to agree.
It's only saving grace is that it's a movie involving people in a boat on
the ocean.
It's as close to being on the water as I can get at the moment, so it will
have to suffice.
Why must summer be of such short duration and why must it be so far away! |

| 'Dead Calm' was a pretty good movie. That may have been the first movie
Nicole's starred in. Last night we watched 'Open Water'..a couple goes on a dive boat
pretty far offshore out into open water with 20 others.the crew
failed to keep count of the number of divers going in and coming out and the
boat left while the 2 were still underwater. I will not ruin the movie for anyone if they are going to see it...it
was not bad and had an ending you would not expect. |

| The following may be of interest to some folks here. I'd classify
it as somewhat in the aforementioned "dull thriller" category. The star, Radha Mitchell, ain't hard to look at either. Visitors (2003)

After six months at sea on an unassisted solo circumnavigation,
Georgia Perry's 44-foot sloop is becalmed for several days. Cabin
fever sets in, and the border between fact and fantasy begins to
distort. But if these are just tricks of the mind, how do these
encounters leave Georgia with physical manifestations? Trailers for Visitors (2003)

| Wind was mildly amusing. It's worth one viewing. Dead Calm was definitely worth watching; very good suspense and a young
Nicole Kidman (before she started slumming with the knucklehead, Cruise). |
