| I kind of doubt it - it doesn't make any sense. ETEC fits perfectly
with their other engine manufacturing for snow mobiles and their line
of pwcs and small performance boats. I highly doubt Ranger would buy any engine operation - they have too
much to lose doing that. Their boat operation incorporates the whole
line of major engine manufacturers - I can't see them purchasing an
engine operation specifically for their boats. What I can see Bombardier doing is dropping everything below the 150
hp and turning that over to the Johnson line - everything from 115
down to 40 using ETEC tech. Most Evinrudes I've seen sold around here
are 200 and up. |
