I'm not supporting his troll Gene...only answering Krause's question. __

considered thoughts to the readers of rec.boats:

As I said, earlier, "We'll, let's look at this with an honest eye, rather than dishonest intent."

There are no guides specializing in grunts. This is a database that maps types of fish found in an area against known charter operations. It merely gave you the opportunity to create your usual specious argument known as a troll.

Along with the usual troll is the usual selective edit, so how about being a real man and respond to your provided link's information that says that Kansas has only 8 charter operations and only 13 ingenious fish?

considered thoughts to the readers of rec.boats:

So why are you supporting Skipper's troll?

There are no "grunt guides," anywhere. Skipper doesn't care if he is lying as long as he feels like he has thrown out a good troll, however, I thought you'd be smart enough to pick up on the fact that quite a few of these "grunt guides" are inland and are, therefore, fishing for the elusive, yet nonexistent, freshwater grunt?

Of course not you idiot, there is no salt water in Kansas.

>What do they catch there, anyway? Canned anchovies?

Try 20 lb Pike, or 12 lb Bass. Either of which would out fight your smelt sized stripper you claim to catch. __

Did you happen across any saltwater fishing guides active in the waters of Derby, Kansas?

What do they catch there, anyway? Canned anchovies?

Yes, I find it amazing that East Coast fishing is so poor that desperate fisherman actually have to pay guides to find grunts. Suppose a grunt is a thrill for East Coasters more accustomed to coming up empty, and it does support the guides.

Nice try, naziboy, but the page you cite allows visitors to "search" by many, many varieties of fish. Everyone knows your game, naziboy. It must really be frustrating for you to be called out on virtually every post.

Here's the whole list from that site, naziboy. There's one on the list that will work for you out there in Derby: goldfish guide.

Guides By Fish Type Albacore Albato Amberjack Arctic Char Arctic Grayling Banana Fish Barracuda Barramundi Bass Blackfish Blowfish Blue Whaler Bluedog Bluefish Bonefish Bonito Bowfin Bream Brotulid Bucketmouth Buffalo Bullhead Burbot Cabezon Cabio Calba Carp Carpsucker Catfish Char Chub Cichlid Cisco Cobia Cod Copperbelly Corvina Crabeater Crappie Crevalle Croaker Cunner Cusk Dolphin Dorado Drum Eel Fallfish Flounder Fluke Gar Goldeye Goldfish Grouper Grunt Haddock Hake Halibut Herring Hogfish Hogsucker Houndfish Jack Jewfish Kingfish Ladyfish Lemonfish Ling Lingcod Lobster Mackerel Mai Mai Marlin Maskinoge Mooneye Mullett Muskellunge Octopus Oscar Pacu Paddlefish Parrotfish Perch Permit Pickerel Pike Pikeminnow Pollock Pompano Porcupinefish Porgy Redfish Redhorse Rockfish Roosterfish Runner Sablefish Sailfish Salmon Sargo Sauger Saugeye Sculpin Scup Seabass Shad Shark Sheefish Sheepshead Shiner Silverside Skate Skipjack Sleeper Smelt Snapper Snook Sole Spadefish Spearfish Spindleback Splake Spot Squawfish Stargazer Stoneroller Striper Sturgeon Sucker Sunfish Surfperch Swordfish Tarpon Tautog Tench Tilapia Tilefish Toadfish Trevally Triggerfish Tripletail Trout Tullibee Tuna Tunny Wahoo Walleye Warmouth Weakfish Whitefish Wrasse Yellowtail

With so many East Coast guides specializing in grunts, one wonders why that species is so popular in your area and why folks pay guides to go for 'em. Must be a lot of goobers on the East Coast.

BTW, are you doing the prudent thing and having those new shotguns properly setup and padded by a fitter before first use, Goober?

Which says nothing about why there are so many professional guides specializing in grunts on the East Coast. Certainly there must be something good to say about East Coast fishing and why goobers are willing to pay for that species.

I've oft mentioned that there are some nice lakes in Kansas and Missouri where you can catch decent fish. But Skipper isn't interested. My guess is that he doesn't really fish and he probably doesn't have and never had a boat. Harry

Oooooohhh...Naziboy Skipper read something about shotguns on a web page. Harry

Overcome your ignorance, Krause. A visit to the fitter is really not optional if you want the gun to perform to its potential. It's inexpensive...even you can afford it. The trick is to ID the best fitter in your area. If your giving a gun as a gift, schedule a visit to the fitter for the recipient.
