| That's awful. We're going to see a lot of marinas get "daylighted" up this way, with
the roofs removed.
Several fires in local covered marinas recently have typically claimed
a dozen or more boats per incident and the cities are now demanding
that the marinas remove the covers from "covered" moorage or spend
$$$$$$ installing sprinkler systems. |

| No, I was at Shelter Cove Marina, which is on Shelter Island. The Marriott
is about 3.5 miles further east into San Diego Bay. It's a high-rent joint,
partly due to the amenities the hotel brings to the occupants. |
