Friends of the Fox

I just wanted to put a post up here of a great Organization that is opening the locks along the Fox River in Wisconsin.

There are 17 locks separating the Great lakes and Lake winnebago with an elevation difference of around 150 feet. The Fox river is located between Lake Winnebago and Green Bay. The opening of the locks will open up a huge area of boating for those that were restricted to Lake winnebago as they would be able to access the Great Lakes without trailerring. It would also open up Lake Winnebago to the boaters that are on the Great lakes part of the Fox. Please check out their website or even make a donation to this Great Innitiative that will open up so much opportunity for so many boaters.
