Are you mentally fit to captain a boat........or to drive a car, operate dangerous equipment, etc............
Take the Densa quiz to see if you really are an idiot or a genius.....or
just comfortably numb. ;-)9/12 for me. I missed the widow, Moses and '30 divided by' questions. Dammit! Be honest folks. |

| Doesn't it require intelligence to read comprehensively? |

| Not high intelligence. |

| No contact with Mensa. My little brainiac graduated from high school
and enrolled at the U of W at the ripe old age of 16, and graduated
with a Bachelor's Degree in Bio-Chem at 19. Has picked up masters
degrees at McGill and NYU since. She travels like a maniac- in fact
she's in Turkey this week with a "just a friend" Greek guy friend. He's
convincingly Greek, so he's pretty well OK there and my daughter will
use her second language (French) rather than English to avoid being
instantly pegged as an American and possibly harrassed. (Dad's brag
ends here. Sorry) :-) |

| That is less of an intelligence test as a reading comprehension test. |

|
| It is definitely a reading comprehension test, with creative trick
questions. I looked closely at the moses question because of the
comments in rec.boats, the widow question was obvious to me, the 30
divided question seemed obvious, since that tricked JimH. The fact that
they call this a Densa test says more than anything about the test. ;) 12/12 I wonder what I would have done without the heads up on the harder
questions.

| 12/12 Had to think about the Moses one, because I knew that *2* was
just too obvious. |

| That's pretty impressive, but here (in my view) is the true test of
genius...... has she had any interaction with Mensa, and what was her
reaction? caution----- trick question!! :-) |

| 11/12 for me..."above normal," and I KNEW I was missing something on
the one about the ark, and that's the one I missed. Anyway not bad for
a lowly pwc'ing boater. richforman |

Damn! that Moses question.
I had to think twice about the widow question 'cause I'm not always sure
what's legal in California!
Great brain teasers, thanks! |

| 12 out of 12 here, not that it really means anything. Just gotta take
your time when answering the questions.
