Prop Success! (where's neutral?)

Well; we had a full boat, 5 adults. 21" pitch -- boat went 40mph @ 4200 RPM.

one of the people was the boats previous owner -- he commented on how quiet it was & how much faster it was; he was impressed

However, we had an embarrassing moment..... When we docked; it wouldn't go into neutral. gotta go down today & figure that out -- might be that shift upgrade that's been mentioned.

Thanks again to everyone's advice & help on all my Q's

Great news Josh! I knew you could do it. A little TLC is all these machines require to run like they should.

I wish I could help you with neutral, but I never had a problem, so I never had to tinker with it.

As it turns out; it's not the outdrive, it's the control unit -- it has a slight "indent" right before it actually goes into neutral -- so it "feels" like it's in neutral.

The PO was on the boat too; and he tried; and did the same thing I did; so I don't feel too stupid -- just another thing to "keep in mind" or fix -- today ; no issues with it; now that I'm aware of the issue.

Thanks -josh
