garmin hand held gps
can't believe they don't provide a usb cable to get into your computer.
the model i bought only had a serial cable, grrrr! Garmin wanted $60
for their serial to usb cable, so I went shopping and found one for $20
at radio shack. so if you are in the same situatation as me, save
yourself some money by going to your local pc store or radio shack.Austin

| I suppose quite a few boaters/hikers don't follow the latest trends
(USB ;) with their PCs, that must be why Garmin is a bit slow with
them, too. The most up to date way of connecting would be via
bluetooth, of course - to PC, smart phone, umpc/internet tablet... Risto |
