12 volt hydraulic pump?

Hi,

Can someone point me in the right direction for finding a 12 volt hydraulic pump that has low current draw, low flow rate, and pressure around 500psi. I have run across quite a few large units. The type for dump trailers etc, but they are way to big for my application. It will need extend a 5/8" cylinder 12 inches at a rate of about 15 seconds.

thanks for any info. jim

If all else fails, it sounds like an old convertible top pump would suit your needs.

Those are being made new again for the restoration market. Pricy but available. Year One would be a good place to start looking.

Dunno what your application is, but if it's on your vehicle consider tapping into the power steering pump line, like the hydraulic winch setups the 4x4 guys use.
