| It's a kicker so just offset it to the right unless you can't because
of boarding ladders or other obstruction. If you can't, go left. Try
and keep it at least 18" from any stern mounted transducer. There are kicker brackets, control arms and throttle assemblies you
can install to run the kicker from your normal operating position -
just depends on how much money you want to spend. There are hydraulic
brackets too - all kinds of options. If the 150 Evinrude is a E-TEC, FICHT or oil injected (separate oiling
system) and the kicker is a four stroke, you can just use the gas feed
for the 150 to the kicker. If the kicker is a two stroke, you'll need
a separate gas tank for the premix. There are some other issues, but those should keep you busy for a
while. |
