| Nice video! They usually run along the bow of the boat off to one side. Dan

| Thanks, I'll probably have a few more videos if we cruise up Pine
Island Sound this winter. They are prolific there and we frequently
get 5 or 6 at a time chasing the boat. >They usually run along the bow of the boat off to one side. Seems to depend on the boat and on the dolphin. On sailboats I more
often see them in the bow wave, also with the smaller Atlantic
dolphins. Around here with power boats and a big wake they seem to
prefer the quarter wave for some reason. |

| Pretty neat fottang,Wayne. That dolphin doesn't lack for exercise... did it decide to swim next to you on it's own? or did you entice it
with some feeesh? |

| No fish required. They seem to be attracted to the sound of the boat
and the wake. We sometimes get as many as 4 or 5 at the same time,
and every once in a while, one will jump out of the bow wave right in
front of the boat. |

| Very nice, Wayne. Looks like that dolphin was doing his best to get some
treats. He must have seen the Sea World show a few times! |

| Nikon Coolpix L4 point and shoot in 640 x 480 movie mode. They are
currently on sale for very reasonable prices. I bought a 1 GByte high
speed SD chip for it and it seems to be doing a good job. The actual
movie from the camera is much higher resolution than what shows up on
Youtube. We are currently docked in Key West and things are jumping around
here. No dolphins though, just these young ladies in skimpy attire.
They seem to be interested in Grand Banks trawlers until Mrs B shows
up. :-) |

| The river water quality looks pretty good in that video. Not as brown and
murky as usual. They must be reducing the releases. |
