No recent marine engine has been built with a reverse rotation. I'm pretty certain that no V6 reverse rotation was ever built. And I think it's safe to assume he will be transfering the ignition, carb, alt, and other bolt on accessories form the cracked marine engine. James

If you are just planning a long block swap then the only manditory thing you need to do is to remove all the cast (freeze) plugs and replace them with brass ones. The iron ones will rust out in short order if you do not. I forget but there may be some in the rear behind the flywheel. The rear cam plug does not need to be brass. The cam is different as well but that is not as much of an issue. You can swap cams if you want but that's a bit more work and you'll have to get a cam change gasket set. Sort of a chore on chevys as you have to loosen the front of the oil pan to get the cam chain cover off.

Reverse Rotation Marine Cam! and possibly whatever changes you have to do to your ignition depending on if it's a distributor or some of the new distibutorless multi coil technology. Gus
