Volvo Penta 5.0 Gxi - High RPM Idle Hello, I'm a newbie boat owner of a 2006 CL 230LS. I bought it pre-owned and several people that have ridden in it have commented that the idle speed seems too high. At idle, the RPM's seem to run between 750-800. It has a Volvo Penta 5.0 GXI dual-prop engine. a) Is this a problem with the boat, other than I have a small wake in no-wake zones? b) Is this adjustable? And - if so - can I make the adjustment myself? Really appreciate any feedback!	johnny8bravo Mar 6

Yep, idle is always adjustable. I wouldn't sweat it much. How often are you really at idle. If you can't adjust it yourself add it to the items you want fixed next time you have it serviced.	jamesgangnc Mar 6
