No I'm right and it's you who has to constantly defend your approach to controlling what appears on this particular newsgroup.

You've managed to piss off just about everybody with this nonsense.

I'll put it in simple terms for you.

You don't control what does and doens't appear here. You've posted more words in defense in your approach than I ever have. Your constant nagging about off topic reeks of hyprocrisy because when it suits you, you certainly aren't shy about contributing to off topic threads. The oblique reference to boats to justify your presence in off topic threads doesn't fool anybody, but you still persist in that promoting that fiction.

If you want to get all metaphysical about it, the very fact that we are discussing off topic threads on a boats related newsgroup is about boats because it's being discussed on a boating newsgroup.

Thus, in a quantum way, all posts are all on-topic.
