starter troule
i tried to start my boat today and all i heard was a click....tried shorting
the solenoid, but that didn't work...now not even a click...checked fuses
under dash, they were ok....is there a fuse somewhere else that may have
blown.....thanks |

| If you get too much water around your engine the best thing you can do is to
get it started and run it till it's good and hot. Preferably for a hour or
so. |

| it is a 1998 glastron with a volvo penta 135hp engine...thanks to all for the
advice...i did see corrosion on the hot wire to the solennoid, but i gave the
batteryy a full charge b4 i started....will let you know how cleaning the
connections works.....i kind of feel like it may be starter because it was
under water last year....forgot plug...never again though....thanks again... |

| It's possible, but not likely. The first thing you need to do is check your
battery's condition and state of charge. Then you can check your wiring for
proper connections.
