Fisning at Mashapaug

So, me and the son in law got out early this morning. Lots of sunfish, a nice yellow perch I might have kept in colder season, and some small bass. Perfect day, no wind, lots of sun. The lake water seemed really stirred up which I don't understand as very little water seems to move out of, or around the lake. Might go back out again after we get back from the stables with the kids, gee, it's nice to have a big/small trailer boat;) Look out thursday on the water though. My oldest and I are going out to sip some Jim Beam and celebrate her first Masters. Yes, I get buzzed on the water, so sue me. I don't get to see her often, she is a busy one.

So, if you go to a restaurant, you don't have a drink with dinner, then drive home? Or dancing with your wife/bf and had a coctail, only to drive home later. My boat goes 6 mph, weighs less than 300 pounds, and is full of soft, floaty stuff. I go to a lake where there is a 6 mph speed limit, all day. So if you are really concerened with drunk activity, go help MADD, but don't come here cause I said I was going to have a "sip" or whiskey during a 6 hour stay on the water and try to be some kind of internet hero!

>Yes, I get buzzed on the water, ...

Why? Do you operate the boat 'buzzed'?

All the more reason to control yourself and not operate that boat under the influence. She's the most precious passenger you could have! Don

Oh geeze, yes I enjoy a occassional sip on the water, you never have ???

Give me a break, did I say I was going to get drunk. I suppose you have never had a sip on the water. We will probably be anchored and swimming most of the day anyway, you guys are sooooo PC, I am impressed with your perfection;)

As a matter of fact, yes, but then I realized what a dumb ass I was being. Haven't done so for many years now. John
