I'll mail the X-85 manual and keys tomorrow - I'm really sorry about that. I'll mail the engine manual as soon as I find it - the office and two bedrooms are all stored elsewhere while the remodeling is going on. I know what box it's in, it's under other boxes and buried.

Thanks in advance for the manuals...I love to read them over & over...I always find something new I glossed over the first couple of times. (not to mention when trouble crops up)

Think I know where you can get a nice 36. They are very solid, high transom boats with just a bit of woodwork to be maintained.

Well..finally made it home at 0130 hrs this morning very tired. (trip started at 0645 ADT yesterday) After entering Nova Scotia, I had stopped & parked with the big rigs at the Cobequid Pass compound to get a few zzzzs before completing the last leg of the trip. No way...on one side the big rigs were accelerating away from the toll booth and on the other ..right beside me, the big rigs were flying in using their 'jake break' to slow down for the booths.

Finally as I pulled up home I could hear the dog barking...he knows the truck. Since it was street sweeping night...and garbage day, our narrow city street was pretty well full. I had to park my rig and move the mini-van out of the driveway so the Ranger and Princecraft could be tucked in for the night. Room was so tight I had to unhook the trailer and manouver it by hand. Next thing the wife is down in her nightdress... saying "I knew you were going to pull that" ..refering to me coming home at a late hour rather than putting up somewhere. (then why did she block the driveway..? women!)

As for the trip...it was long. Tom flew up the I95 and he was aproaching Bangor, Maine (meeting point as per Plan B) while I was still outside Saint John, New Brunswick. He decided to work his way up the old Hwy 9 to the original Plan A location at Beddington. This added a bit to his travel (we wanted him well rested for his therapy this am) but shaved at least 45 minutes off my driving time. I caught him napping at a roadside 'rest area' in that desolate area (supposidly 29 residents but no one around) After meeting the big guy we had to get right down to business with all the little details and familiarization. No pictures for the newsgroup...after eyeing Tom up, I figured I'd look short & stout standing next to him. Tom certainly does look like the outdoors type, big & sturdy... you might even mistake him for a trucker from a distance. Wished we had more time to just kick around. It would have been interesting to go out for an afternoon 'sail'. (would have pried him for first hand insight on the Vietnam action.... always interesting because I was of age then....turned 18 in August 1967) Maybe another time...thanks for you interest in me getting home safely Tom.. appreciated your calls.(I get sleepy on long drives).

And yes... Bronson and I plan on getting lots of use from that boat. Even the wife looked it over this morning and said it looks bigger than she thought it would. I may be installing that second comfy seat soon. (I'll send you a direct e-mail re keys and any manuals you might have kicking around)
