hudson river stippers
hey, i was wondering what anyone knew about catching strippers from shore or
from a boat.. whats the best set to go with when doing this
any help is appreciated! thanx |

| If fishing from Shore depending on where you are eels and sandworms are
probably your best bet, good surf rod/reel combo spooled with 30lb test
always worked well for me, I usually use a 1oz pyramid sinker tied off on a
3way swivel, I tend to use a leader cause where the stripers are you can
usually bet there are bluefish

or allow you to do so. Now STRIPERS on the other hand are caught with either live
bait, top-water, or cranks. <g>
