Buzzbaits

What is your favorite kind of buzzbait (color, size, brand, etc.)?

Personally, I have always liked the Blue Fox doube buzzbaits, but I don't think they make them anymore.

Has anyone tried the Strike King Bleeding buzzbait with the holes in the blades? Or the Hammerin' Hare Power Buzzbait? Or what about the Leverage buzzbaits? Do you like them?

Thanks....

I prefer a buzzbait with a single 3 or 4 bladed propeller--they ride higher in the water and can be retrieved more slowly than a 2 bladed lure. Plus they make more noise and splash. (The buzzbait is definitely not a subtle or delicate lure!) Color--in my experience, color makes no difference on any top-water lure, be they buzzers, chuggers, wobblers, or popping bugs. OTOH, size and retrieve speed are variables to play with on the water to determine exactly what LM want. Even shape seems to be less important than the commotion topwaters make.

Most of my buzzbaits are Strike King 5/8 oz.--not the "Junior" type which weigh 3/8 oz. The 5/8 oz. are getting hard to find--not listed in SK's catalog any more (pity).

I also have a few buzzers with 4 bladed plastic props. Don't remember the brand. They don't cast as well as the heavier SK's.
