OT kinda.. Texas boaters! Get gas tax refund
You Texas boaters out there... I came across this post that says you can
get a state gas tax refund for gas used in your BASS (or other) boat.

| Hmm... Texas offering tax deductions when you use gas... I wonder why....
Heck, if you're rich, live in Texas and use as much gas as possible you get
all the tax breaks. Must be a common denominator there somewhere. |

| Sort of like what we call "off-road diesel fuel" in Alabama. It costs less
because it's not subject to the state-imposed tax used for highway upkeep
since it isn't used on the hiway. Gas used in boats in some states are
exempt from this tax for the same reason. Sure wish Alabama was one of
them! |
