Casting Into The Wind

First off.... don't feed the trolls.

Second. I don't know about the wind thing. I can say one thing. On days when it has been blowing a while I have found fish consistantly not in the windy water, but just around the point on the leeward side. I think the fish like the more stable water, and the proximity of good feed. They seem to be bunched up just around the corner.

Furhter back on the leeward side there do not seem to be as many fish, and they don't seem to be holding on the wind and wave beaten shore. Atleast not up near the bank.

A wacky rigged stick worm dropped just off the point or just behind it will usually produce a fish on the first cast in these conditions. A natural bait fish color seems to work slightly better.
