? on new Rapala lure
Earlier in the week, I read in the Madison Wisconsin paper a story about
Rapala, the company. They also mentioned a new lure that will be shown at a
trade show this month and will be on store shelves in August or September.
The only name given out in the story was "Project X", with no other info
given. Anyone have any idea what we will be seeing later this summer?Cast far

| Al probably knows. He is an expert on Rapala if they are in the clearance
box at Wally World.

| Thought I saw somebody setting up camp near the closeout bin. He probably
can't wait for these to be dumped in. As for me, I hope that it will be a winner, though I thought the same thing
about the older Husky Rapala, and as a result I do not have very many left
after they went and discontinued them a few years back. Bob |

| It's not a lot of help, but I'll be at the ICAST show in Las Vegas this
July. That's the big fishing industry trade show where all the new products
are unveiled for the year. |

| Not sure if this has anything to do with it or not, but I was on a
flight last week and Rodney, Bob Rickard and Jarmo Rapala were up in
first class drinking champagne and laughing so hard the flight
attendants had to ask them to calm down. All I heard was something about a "Rap-a-Rang Weapon" |
