| 4 Inch "Mojo Reefer", wiggle rigged, I've caught bass on it when others
could not buy a bite, with everything in their box, it has also caught
Walleye, Northerns, Catfish, and crappie. I also put Mega Strike on it (some think that's cheating :-)

penetrate weeds really well and I've had 'em strike like crazy on them using
a 4/0 red gammy EWG hooks.. Ah, I miss fishing..right now it's school season and I don't get out as much
as homework takes priority...but if the weather is good this weekend, I'll
get to fish again.... :) Christopher |

| My favourite is a rapala/smithwick minnow plug. It is quite memorable
experience to see bass rise from the depths and smash it. I'll alternate with
plastic worms since bass are not always receptive to the minnow plug
enticement. Randy i thought you gave up fishing until labour day? |

| Don't have a favorite bait, nor a favorite method. What you need to ask is,
what is you favorite presentation? Me... my box is loaded with spinnerbaits, and plastics. When the wind is up,
or there's a nice chop on the water I'll throw a spinnerbait almost all day.
Early in the morning, it's usually a buzzbait. When the waters are flat, or
I can't get hit on the previous two... it's time to break out the worm/tube. I love to fish the worm. I especially like it when the fish aren't really
hitting the bait, but rather gently sucking it in where you can't feel it.
Somehow, you just know he's there and the instant that you swing the rod
back and feel the weight of the fish, there's nothing else in the world that
can compare. Still, when the fish are hammering the worm, it's still fun. Spinnerbaits at night are awesome too! Here in Priest Lake you never know
what's on the other line until you get it close enough to the boat to
identify. I've caught many, many bass... but I've also caught catfish,
stripers, drum, bluegill, smallmouth, and even carp. Guess it's all in the
retrieve... LOL |
