So, once again, another NWC has proven tough. But, everyone I talked to had a smile on their face and had a ball. It's now the lull before the storm, everyone is back at the hotel getting ready for tonight's festivities. Lots of eating, laughing, and fun ahead.

And I think that Boom has beaten up on everyone enough, it's time for me to start researching new water. As it stands right now, I'm still planning on the weekend after Labor Day, so start planning for next year. If you've never been to one, you really owe it to yourself to attend one, it's a lot of fun, guaranteed!

Congrats to all the participants! Glad to hear that almost everyone caught fish out of the notorious Boom (Doom) Lake, and that everyone had a great time!

Also... congrats to Danl for winning my contest of the big bag of plastics! Danl correctly guessed Ronnie Garrison for second place, as did Jim Laumann, and Justin Hires. RichZ had Ronnie in a tie with Warren. The deciding factor was that Danl also correctly guessed that Steve Huber would take Big Bass!

<snip>And I think that Boom has beaten up on everyone enough, it's time for me to start researching new water.

I fished my ass off this year for one reason..to go to Wisconisn and catch two limits on that lake and being as that didn't happen..I need another shot... PLEEEEEZE

We just need to get Jerry an airboat and Harry a bungee for his cell phone.. I have no idea what to say about Warren except he better hope when he makes it to the BMC it's not on boom. You couldn't ask for a better lake for a tourny.. everyone has a chance even after the first day.. So if you move the water.. I'm coming early and someone is taking me out fishing on boom. I have a score to settle

Thanks Charles, I had a great time again. Got to see some people that I meet last year and meet some new guys and put faces to the people on this board. Steve and Janet were great hosts again as always and if you don't have fun at one of these it's your fault. It also helps to win. I finally took a good look at the rod that Steve made for this and it is beautiful. It almost looks to good to fish with. Somehow I will get past that and give it a try shortly. Look forward to seeing all of you next year. gary.wilber
