What is the most accepted formula for determining weight of fish, particularly bass..

I have seen several on the internet and was trying to narrow it down to one, thanks!

The most accepted calculation is length2 x girth -:- 1,200. Or in other words length x length x girth divided by 1,200. By this formula a 22" bass with a girth of 15" would weigh slightly over 6 pounds. Bill hoosier13
