Plastic Utility Boxes - Durability
How well do your plastic utility boxes hold up. I have a n=bunch of them
from Plano, and they are great for organizing things, but they are all
getting hard and breaking. The worst ones aren't six months old. I know
thats the price I pay for living in the desert, but these are stored in my
lockers on the boat. They don't sit out on the deck in the sun.

| I've got some 3600s that are 9/10 years old or maybe even older and
still latch good and the lids did not buckle like some other brands I
have. But I store all mine in the den in the house in a closed storage
room. This I'm sure is the difference. I take everything out of the
boat, and I mean everything. sket |

| I imagine those lockers heat up like a car with closed windows. No, can't
expect those $3 utility boxes to fare too well in an oven ;-) I have the same boxes Bob, some are on 10 seasons. I know I've never had
one crack like that. WW |

| I have some that don't seem to be affected at all. My spinner bait box
seems to be as soft and pliable as when I bought it. I don't think these
were $3 boxes though. They were not particularly expensive, but they were
more than $3.

| My Flambo's are doing the same thing,, I think it's the plastic they use
in both of them that is the problem |
