In the rain
I have a trip for this Wednesday in SoCal and rain, for the first half
of the day, is predicted.Since it doesn't rain here much what can I expect when fishing for bass
in the rain? Does the bite increase? I would think topwater would have a better chance. BTW: Going to Diamond Valley Res. in Hemet/Temecula. Thanks |

| Shred, In my days in Cali the rain always brought stocked trout to the surface and
in a feeding frenzy. Not far behind were always Largemouth. #11 through #
19 Rainbow trout floating Rapalas were always the ticket for me. But I left
there before I ever got a chance to use Swim baits, so if you can load up a
couple of those (in Rainbow trout color) you should be golden. Hope this helps Chris |
