Not all that much. jajwuth is now canoe angler, oops, no, now it's lure builder. Rodney is still the smartest man in the universe. Rich Z. still makes posts that make you feel like you were there. Randy alwaysfishking is wearing dresses and shaving heads to pay fishing bets. Dave's hair makes good jigs. Andrew Kidd handed the ROFB website tiller to Charles Summers. Drop shotting isn't new. You missed all the off-topic political posts. :) BTW, Bush won. Florida had some hurricanes. Boom lake gave up a few bass.

OK, you guys, fill him in on your tournament wins!

Argh... you forgot about Okeechobee! The Southern Classic was held there this year and I think we broke every ROFB Event record, too! Charles

Good to hear all is well here. Life always keeps moving along.. The tracker deal was a learning experience. I'll leave it at that. Some things learned in the boat business... When you're in it, you never have time to actually fish. Some people just well...belong on the bank. But the vast majority well overcome the few boneheads.

I've seen what happens to an Optimax when you fill the oil reservoir full of Pennzoil 20W50. Nasty. I've spent more than a few hours teaching "expert" bass boat drivers how to drive their "squirrly" boats. "Hey that's easy" Seen what can happen in a boat shop. Very scary. Now see why they give drug tests. Seen how a pontoon boat becomes a kite going down the hiway. Very few things in my life have ever been more painful than a boat show. People can have a very warped sense of worth. There's more, one tidbit at a time. Dang glad to be here.

I guess anytime you're in the business with dealing with people, you learn alot about the different types of personalities. It sounds like you've been having a little fun with it though, except the boat shows... and I know that feeling myself working with Secret Weapon. Some of the shows we've been to this year were nice, while the others were a true learning experience in human development.

I received a letter in the mail from Tracker Marine this week wanting me to do an online survey on my purchase (700LX). While I am still overall pleased with my boat, the survey did help me recall some problems that I've had with it, but ended up repairing myself. The dealers are really slow around here, and I'd rather know that the problems were repaired to my satisfaction anyway.
