Why I love November bass fishing in the northeast.

I had a good day yesterday, but today (this morning, actually, as I had to be home by noon) was better.

Great fishin Rich! I wish my tourney yesterday was on Zoar, lol, I managed only 2 keepers for less than 3 pounds, and came in 4th! Winner only had 2 also, one guy had 3. Got both my keepers on the Ozmo (green stew, I love that color!), I'm really looking forward to fishing it alot more next year.

When I checked-in yesterday I saw Harry Thundercat & asked him how he did. He held up 5 fingers so I thought he had a limit & his first tourney win - I was totally psyched for him! But the sniveling joker skunked haha...

Awesome photo's Rich. Take a 3/4" dowel rod with a 1/4 X 20 stud/screw, stick it in your pedestal seat hole and you've got an instant camera tripod. Jerry

Great catch Rich!

I'm with you on November fishing. It can simply be incredible. The pressure is down and the bass start scooling up in deeper structure off of shallower flats.

Congrats on a great day!

I remember when we never saw those black blotches except from the Hudson, but now we get fish everwhere that have them. They are pretty common in Zoar -- at least on the bigger fish. If you look, the fish in the 2nd picture has one on its back near the base of the forward dorsal, and the fish in the 4th picture has a couple small onse on the forward dorsal itself. RichZ

Lol, I remember catching one that had a raccoon-like mask on its eyes, it looked pretty cool. I have a pic somewhere, if I can find it I'll post it on abpf... go-bassn
