Update on Garmin Service
Well, I received my G162 back today with a letter stating that the unit was
working perfectly for them, and for me to check my battery connections. I
haven't *rechecked* them today, but I'll check again when I hook it back up.But, when I unpackaged the unit, Garmin had graciously replaced the front
plastic cover and installed new control buttons. Looks like a new unit!

| You're goofy. Lowrance owns Eagle. Garmin is part of Garmin Ltd, which is more into
aviation communications and positioning stuff. |

Eagle line, IMO they're worth it. They're still less than Lowrance. |
