| Hey Bucky where are you at in Mich.? I'm in Plymouth but have a cottage
up north. My favorite bait is the Scum Frog in the pads. |

| If you like the Scum Frog in our lakes here in Michigan, you'd absolutely
LOVE the "Zoom Horny Toad" a bunch of us in here have been ranting about. We
don't have too much rocky shoreline or rocky bottom, but we do have our
share of pads and wood, and these Toads are killers on both, just ask Kevin
Hare (Heavy) his opinion. Alwaysfishing and Thundercat turned me on to these
things and I've got Kevin into them. Fish 'em like a topwater, a soft
dropping Senko, or just jump 'em on the pads. Belleville, Whitmore, and
Portage Chain are excellent lakes for you on your side of town. |

| I don't know if I really have a "favorite" bait. I try to fish the
conditions based on my experience. With that being said, I tended to throw
3/8th oz. Secret Weapon spinnerbaits (baby bass color) a lot this past
season. I also had a "go-to" bait, a pearl Zoom Fluke soft jerkbait. I live in northeastern Wisconsin and fish water that ranges from pretty
clear to coffee colored tannin stained. |

| New York, mostly clear water. Can't name one bait. Tubes, worms, Senkos,
Jitterbugs, Grass Frogs are among my most-used. |

| Niles on the Michigan Indiana boarder, I fish club, and open
tournaments. I did fish the redman once on Lk. St clair before it became
the BFL. I fish in the Kalamazoo area alot in the summer on Austin,
Gull, Barton and Gun lakes. I have a 20 ft. Javelin w/ 200 johnson and
all you have to do is set a date and time next summer and we can hook up
and catch a few. Bucky

| AR, mostly stained to muddy ponds and small lakes. My goto lure is always a
3/8 ounce firetiger Secret Weapon spinnerbait. Larry |

| That's been a good color for me too, and was my go-to bait for the longest
time, but it seems recently that Baby Bass has been producing better. |

| If the water's stained or partially clear . . . no doubt the pearl Bass
Asassin is my choice. I prefer the 5 inch version, texas rigged with a small
shaft weight (looks like a nail) in the nose for deeper presentations and
sans the weight for shallow or slower. Charles will tell ya ...... I just
love em !

| I keep all my favorites in a "cigar" box type tackle box....a bunch of
soft plastics, a few broke back rapalas, an old rebel, and a few rooster
tails. Change comes hard for me <grin>.
