Best use for a rod

I won a BPS Bassmaster B.A.S.S. rod at the last Yuma Bassmasters meeting. It is a 6'6" Med/Heavy baitcaster. Rec line weight 10-20lb 3/8oz lure weight.

Typically I use spinning tackle for just about everything except flipping and pitchng, and occassioaly fishing medium weight jigs, and almost all of my rods are 7'. I am trying to figure out what this rod would most ideally be suited for.

The BPS Bassmaster reel that came with the rod looks a lot like a Pflueger internally.

....just about anything you want above 1/8 oz depending on what it's spooled with....that combo is the notional "starter rig" for Baitcasting....jigs, worms, spinnerbaits... medium-large sized crankbaits....it's all good. said Huck Huck

I figured I'ld spool it up with some 10 or 12 lb flouro and try to cast weightless lizards with it. I ought to be able to get a good hookset out of it anyway. Bob
