G Loomis GL3 or St Croix Legand Tournament
Hi,
This is my first time post and looking for some feedback.I am going to purchase a new rod for a Quantum Energy PTI20 spinning =
reel.
I am looking for some feedback on the G. Loomis GL3 SRJ782 compared to =
the new St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass TBS68MXF. I need to stay in the $200 range and will be fishing mostly plastics =
with 8 lb (sometimes 10lb) line and smaller weights. =20 Any experience with these rods?=20

| No real comparision, the St Croix wins hands down, better graphite, faster
tip, newer design, lighter rod. |

| When you say "the $200 range", you might should consider GL IMX. This
would be much closer to an "apples to apples" comparison of the two brands. mhood |
