A question about Trailer Tires
Guys,Can anybody recommend a brand of trailer tires..full sized not minis?
My trailer has Goodyears on it but is there a better option? thanks,

better option?" What is wrong with Goodyear tires? My boat trailer has a set that has over
14000 miles on them and I have not had any problem with them. I am using
Goodyear Marathon tires. I had a set of Carisles on the trailer but only
got 450 miles out of one tire before the belts separated. Dealer replaced
tire for free and this one made 700 miles before it failed. I then
purchased Goodyear tires for my trailer. I regularly pull my boat 6 to 8 times a month. Each trip is 110 miles one

| I have Carlisles and other than one that fell apart after towing flat for a
couple of miles, they have been good. I have at least a couple of thousand
miles on them in the last couple of years.

| Sarge, I didn't mean to imply that there was something wrong with
Goodyears...my tires are 5 years old and haven't failed me yet....I just
was wanting to know everybody elses experience. BD |
