Going South for a couple of weeks
Leave tonight to go south for a couple of weeks. Fly to Buenos Aires tonight,
then on to Tierra del Fuego Monday to catch a cruise ship for Antiartica. They
say the seas off Cape Horn are the roughest in the world - 40 foot waves are
not uncommon. Will cruise the ice looking at penguines, seals and whales for
several days then back home on 1/30/05. Its summertime there - sun is up from
3 AM till 11 PM and it warms all the way up to 32 degrees some days.I will look for bass while I am there - maybe find some Peacock in Argentina.
