Texposers
I finally saw some Texposers in the store today. Interesting square looking
hook. I bet it would be great for thick body baits like palm trees if it
had a wider gap. I love that square curve, and long barb point. I'm gonna
go back and buy a couple packs of them.

| Bob, I thought they would make Grrrrrrrr8 tube hooks, but seemed to loose
several smallies until I went back to my old wide gaps .

| They are great for creature & soft-jerkbaits. Lunker City produces some
excellent specialty items... Warren |

| As Warren says, they're great for soft baits such as creature baits,
excellent for Horney Toads, and others, but I agree with Josh, they weren't
my favorite for tubes. I also went back the the EWG Gammi's. |

| I think the Texposers would be much more effective with bulky baits like
tubes & even Lunker City's own Salad Spoon if they would widen the gap some
while keeping the sharp turn just below the hook point. What do I know though?

| You know that except for some real light tackle specialty stuff, I use
Texposers almost exclusively. When you stick a fish with the Texposer,
it stays stuck. The biggest "problem" with them, if you want to call it
a problem, is that more times than not, you have to pick up the pliers
to get the fish unhooked. |

| Or your finger, or your clothes, or your hat, tackle bag etc etc. I like
them. I like them a lot. Great using them on Flukes |
