Stearns and Sospenders

As reported in Fishing Tackle Retailer magazine, January 2005;

Stearns Inc. has acquired SOS, maker of Sospenders inflatable PFD's. The Purchase price was not disclosed. "Sospenders products offer an excellent opportunity for Stearns to expand our presence in the fast-growing inflatable PFD market...(snipe other 'bang-our-own-drum' hype)" said Paul Ebnet, president of Stearns. The current Stearns rep network will handle SOSpenders sales.

Checked out both web sites and the only info found, at this time, was a blurb on Stearns home page that they had purchased Sospenders and gave a link to the website for Sospenders.
