Evinrude E-Tec Outboards???
Has anyone had any experience with this line of outboards?? |

| The last couple years have shown good performance around here. The only
full line bass boat dealer we have in this area sells Rangers with
Evinrudes. The E-Tecs seem to be rocking. Sorry no personal expereience
other than having ridden in a couple. The E-Tec HO models tend to dyno out
at a full 10% over their rated HP. ie An E-Tec 225 HO dynos out around
245-247. Supposedly requires zero hours of break in.

| Not much of a demand for the Bombs around here. I can rig one on a boat,
but no one has shown the slightest interest in actually purchasing one. Always be very very careful when talking to a guy who's having his equipment
given to him, it'll always be the "best ever built" |
