Bought the new Shimano Baitcaster with electronics
I just couldn't resist. I'm a gadget guy and love fishing, it just had to
be. 5 bills is a lot of money, so I committed myself to finding a beter
deal. Everyone was $499 on the net, looked for a coupon -- no go. However,
with a little hesitation I bought one on eBay for $385! Got it 2 day later
and went fishing that day.Loaded it withe PowerPro 30 (I think), Well, it casts like everyone says - unbelievable... In fact, I have a
problem, I need to teach this old dog a new trick -- cast half as hard...
It ain't hype, this thing is the "reel" deal. Beyond electronic braking and high RPM spool spinning, this is the best reel
I've owned. My go to reel was a centrificula brake Shimano Calcutta -- an
excellent tool. This reel takes it a step further. Both the drag and the a
the friction adjustment for the spool have fine click adjustments. The reel
is a smooth as silk, the drag is just as smooth. I'm happy to spend 4 bills on this fine tool and look forward to exploiting
