Home, I think
After leaving Edgar Evins at midnight Georgia time Saturday night, I
arrived at Lanier at 5 am and got a 30 minute nap. You were right
Jerry, less than six hours. Fished my club tournament, got 3rd with
five weighing 7.97 so worth it, I guess. Got home at 6 pm and crashed,
didn't even turn on the compter. Had to get up at 4 Monday moring for a
guide trip at Oconee, took out a couple for a little tournament their
buisness group held. They had never fished before but we managed to come
in 3rd with 3 weighing 6.5 pounds.Got home at 3:30 and slept till six, got up and ate supper, then back to
bed. Its Tuesday AM and I think I finally caught up on sleep. Had the usual fantastic time at the MTC - disappointed in my catching,
especially Saturday, but a great trip I hope to never miss in the
future. I will post more info about the trip later. Congrats to Shawn for catching fish both days and winning. He has really
come a long way in fishing since the first NWC - is Jerry claiming him
now after his win? All of us were winners simply by attending, it was a great trip. |
