Abigails Fish
Was planning on taking my 6 year old fishing tonight as the others were
going to soccer practice with Mom. Took a quick trip to the store for some
juice for the trip and headed back to go get the boat. Well as fate may have it, the sky darkened and the wind picked up enough to
know rain was coming. We decided to do some bank fishing. We stopped at the big lake here and didn't get as much as a nibble, so we
headed over to One Sock Lake. One sock has some nice laydowns right where you launch the boat so it was
our best shot at catching some sort of fish. I gave my daughter her rod and got my rod out and was rigging up. Her first
cast to the edge of the tree with her green pumpkin senko and her line
shoots off just as soon as it hits the water. she starts reeling like crazy
screaming I got one I got one, only she couldn't reel anymore. I tighten up
the drag for her and she continues to reel. Then this nice fish shows it
self, not once but three times. She manages to get it up into the sand and I
lip it. She was more than content not going out on the boat after all.

doesn't carry newsgroups, and Google doesn't carry binary groups. I've

THANKS Henry! I would rather see a kid with a big fishing "smile" than
all the big guy's catches any day! Way to go Abigail....I'm gonna show the pic to my grandson Jordan (he
