Fathers Day Tournament of Champions

I started off getting my pickerel out of the way early and Dave followed with a crappie on a small jig and grub. I decided let me get my perch and Crappie out of the way so I tied on a 1/16 ox jighead and a white/chartreuse grub, Only what I got was two decent Largemouth. Ok Lm out of the way, back to crappie fishing. Dave gets his pickerel and I get my crappie on the same grub and Dave follows with his LM, just the perch are left. Both fishing small grubs. I hook into a fish and pull up my Perch, seconds later Dave lands his perch. We fished a lot more and Dave hit another LM, we went into the back cove where Dave started hitting Lm's on a Strike King spinnerbait. I opted for a SW spinnerbait and started hitting bass as well. The spinnerbait bite died down after we had landed about 7 Lm's, we decided to fish for some more crappies and had a blast doing it.

We caught a nice mix of crappies and sunfish. Dozens of them. I even caught a shiner about 7 inchs long. I also landed 2 more Lm and another Pickerel on those small grubs. Awesome way to start Fathers Day. I'll post some pictures later
