Ozmo Review
Launched at 5 a.m his mornign two boats, me and Jeremy and Dave V fishing
solo. I rigged a blk/blue Ozmo on 1/16 oz red weightb witha 3/0 texposer.
I took 8 decent bass, Jeremy got one on a wacko and dave caught 3 small ones
on who knows what!! I also landd two toothy critters, a perch and a crappie
on the Ozmo. I'm convinced they work great |

| In Whitehaven, MS, a fellow I know who has a wading pool filled by rain
water, with a recirculating pump and leafy cover. Into it he dumps bass that
he catches on Enid Lake, and when he wants bass for supper, he goes out an
nets one. Last time I was there, he had about a dozen bass ranging from 2 to four
pounds huddled in one corner, under some leafy branches. Every now and then,
the feller throws in some dog chow for the fish to munch on, but otherwise
he ignores them and they're pretty hungry. What lures would you recommend I try, Randy, if I wanted to try to catch
some of those bass? The reason I ask is, that wading pool sounds a little
like the lakes that you normally fish. ;-) Joe

| Well Joe I would suggest rolling up your pant legs and start by applying a
large does of sunscreen, quietly and I mean quietly step over the edge of
the pool, but make sure you have a net. Then whistle clapp and snap your
fingers,,,in that exact order, turn your head to the southeast and lower the
net, they should just swim right in, I also hear that playing Tanya Tucker
songs backwards can stimulate those type bass into just rolling belly up,
making them ripe for the picking. Seriously Joe only one lake here was stocked about 6-7 years ago with
200 small bass, all the others are all natural. If you fished nearly as much
as I do, which is currently 30-40 hrs per week, it makes it easier to not
only locate but pattern fish over periods of days. I always have 6 rods
rigged and always bring pounds and pounds of soft plastics. fish will
always bite, if they aren't, your doing something wrong. Either not finding
them, not putting your baits within their strike zone or not offering them
what they want. That being said maybe you should come up sometime with a
camera for some product testing. Either way, I'm loaded up with dog chow and
heading out in a few, it's looking more and more like a buzzbait morning

| I know... I was kidding. I had a little lake all to myself for a while down
in Tennessee.... visited only by a few bream fishermen, and loaded with
bass. Great opportunity to try out different lures, techniques, etc., since
I could almost always coax something to bite, given enough time and options.
I'd love to get up there one of these days.... Joe

| Make it happen Joe, if not later this year (Sept) then definetly next
spring, we could spend a day or two filming and testing your spinnerbaits
and buzzbaits.. there's some big bass,,, but don't be fooled there are days
where finding those fish is just next to impossible, while they are no Dale
Hollow they are a bit bigger than most on here are led to believe |

| I want to try these lures really bad but.... They cost toooooo much
money. Heck, at 50+ cents each, it's worth gettin wet to git one
back.
