NWC 2006 So Far....

Man, we've been having fun again. The weather has been cooperating so far, with nice temps, not too much wind and no rain!

Boom Lake has been kind to a lot of people, giving up some nice fish. Gary is in the lead by 2 ounces over Ronnie, Chris Rennert is in third and I'm bringing up 4th place! More people have weighed in bass than not, and Joe H. is leading the largest Non-Bass with a 35" muskie.

Sorry to be so brief, but I've been a little busy up here. We had the venison feed last night and once again, the laughing went on into the night.

Well, I'm off to get ready for today, I'll try to post more results tonight. I told you guys you should have been here.

So three of my top five picks are doing well! Hang in there Joe... remember what I taught you and you'll do well.

What? What was it that I taught Joe H, you ask? Same thing I've been saying for years... Have fun doing what you're doing and don't worry everyone else! Fishing is suppose to be fun... and when it get's to where it isn't fun anymore, you might as well sell your boat and buy a bike.

I've still got Joe for a win. He knows his fish, and can usually catch plenty of them when relaxes and doesn't overthink it. "Clear your mind Joe..."

Sure would have been nice to be there... but sadly, even more issues for me came up that would have just hurt me more by going.
