OUTDOORS CALENDAR -- The annual St. Josephs/Candler Leukemia Cup Inshore Fishing Slam, targeting trout, redfish and flounder, will be held Sept. 24-25, out of the Savannah Yacht Club. Mike Smith, a spokesman for the event, said it is open to anyone, and that they can fish out of any type of boat including kayaks. Savannah Morning News
